1996 my favorite year in hop hop. Easily 20 classic albums out that year.
TiL. Q tip said Nas career would have been ruined if they released Iww as is. I guess Steve Stoute had let him listen before release for feedback according to article. I kinda understand where he was coming from though. Iww was quite the departure from the illmatic sound.
Yeah those albums are opposites thematically but Iww is still really good.
