Hadn't been to the movies in almost 2 years, so I went to see this. It's good. I didn't like Bond too much as a kid, but now as an adult I like the movies more, which is weird. The best part about them are the villains. They're kinda all the same but fun to watch

So, This was Daniel Craig's last Bond film. Any guesses on who will be the next 007?

I think it’s going to be Idris Elber?

I think Tom Hardy would do well but I'd be surprised if he were interested.

Idris Elba would definitely do well too.

What do you think about Henry Cavill, possibly getting the role?

He would be a good fit.

I read an interview with The Rock that said he wants the Bond part

    lol

who knows it could even work. eh they might as well go with The Stath in that case

but they should probably go with an actor that can bring some depth to the part. no Roger Moore type stuff

They're saying Idris may play the villain in the next one. They probably want a younger actor for Bond.

Roger Moore is my favourite Bond.

He was a good fit for the upbeat more light hearted Bond movies for sure.

I prefer Bond in a more dramatic role, like the movies with Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig. So it's more of a plot thing with me and the kind of actor production envisioned for that.

Pierce Brosnan for me. That was just the era I grew up with, still love 3/4 of those films.

Sean Connery was the coolest though, hes the standard to match.

Have any of you ever seen the old Casino Royale version w/ David Niven on tv? That movie just popped into my head randomly since we're discussing Bond actors. Niven did pretty well. It's been ages since I saw that particular movie, don't really remember too much about it but I do know I enjoyed the comedy in it.

I was thinking specifically of Kutman because Niven to me sort of brought the same vibe to Bond as Roger Moore

As I understand it the movie is not 'canon', it's more of a spoof, a loose adaptation

Btw George Lazenby was underrated imo. OHMSS was a great movie (the skiing scenes!) and he was a credible Bond to me

Read about it, but never seen it.
Would have to rewatch OHMSS to give a valid opinion.
