12 got signed on def jam by dante ross and chris lighty (Rip)
The album is produced by rza true master and 4th disciple
    I believe there's 12 tracks
There was a problem between wu-tang productions and def jam .. dunno which one .. this is why it got shelved
I think divine and rza still got the album
They need to release it asap

I guess the best we can do is hit up Def Jam's social media and let them know we want the album. If they released it as manufacture on demand, they would not have to worry about having unsold copies laying around. It is worth a try.

    Damn straight!
They should release the Two on Da Road project too. That album if I'm not mistaken, was completed in its entirety too, and was shelved.

Why today and not before ( apart from the obvious reason ) ? If you have a LP with great potential why keep it a secret, and go through almost all the ages of the clan with it ? There might be good reasons why it won't have a proper release. One of them may be the sample clearance ( in which case they would be forced to give it away for free, if they absolutely want us to hear it ).

Def jam could also own a higher stake, publishing for that album which could result the lawsuit of a lifetime.

I'm pretty sure Two on Da Road were not signed by Def Jam (just 12 as a solo artist), so aside from sample clearances I'm not sure why Wu Tang Productions never released this project.
Cilva, did you get to hear any of the 2 on Da Road album, and she'd any light on why it was shelved?

When I met Two On Da Road in 2003, they confirmed that it was finished and "coming soon" which in Wu Tang, means it is never coming out, lol Hope something happens.

12 and 4th had done most work for his def jam album. I heard some of it when I was recording my album, like that song GET SOME HATE. Most of what I heard was in the style of Heavy Mental, warmish beats, real nice and melodic. But as per usual, I understand 4th has lost all that shit... again. Like all the good stuff. Two Onda Road weren't on Def jam, don't know much about that project.

The careful vid is hard to watch. Always thought 12 at the table with Rza and the way u-god reacts were hilarious. Now I wont be watching that again anytime soon. Instant regret
