Listening to Black Jesus today, I felt like it had a Wu-Tang Forever vibe. Especially U-God, his flow was killing shit on Forever and he used that flow on a lot of it.

Fo sho. Made that link too some time ago. And Marvel is also on some shit.

Just remembered that there was this remix of Iron Maiden with a different verse from Ghostface. Came from some mixtape, could be another Think Differently tape, but can't recall where from exactly. That would have been a nice addition instead together with the original Box In Hand. Just those two would have been way more of a celebration than this.

I think they couldn't clear the sample on the first Box In Hand. Probably the same issue with the rerelease.

I always think there would be great interest in unreleased Hip Hop from various artists in their prime.

Oyeah. J-Love was doing that insane amount of tapes with OG mixes of tracks. He basically had all the tracks for a GFK - Lost tapes compilation that would have been a classic.

^^Does anybody know what the story is behind the connection between J-Love and the Wu generals? He had great compilation tapes out with almost every general, with lots of exclusives

    How did they link up?
