Looks like the remix of All That I Got Is You that they were talking about, is just the DJ Mighty Mi Remix that was featured on the single release in '96. [edit: I see that someone already mentioned this. Indeed the Killing Me Softly sample thrown in.]

Now I noticed that the new vinyl release will have The Soul Controller on there. But it is absent from the digital release I found on Deezer. Another thing I noticed, is that they did not take the time to rename the Box In Hand track. Which seems to be also known as Wu-Tang Will Survive.

Back when this album was released, I recall reading that people were a bit disappointed with two tracks already being released via soundtracks. Motherless Child & Winter Warz, from Fresh & Don't Be A Menace. I'm happy though these were included.

I have Motherless Child on the Sunset Park soundtrack. Good album! Copped it when it dropped. Worth DLing or buying. Never saw the movie though

    (for reference : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunset_Park_(soundtrack) )

I was not familiar with 'Fresh'( https://www.discogs.com/release/3591...ed-By-The-Film ) I see it's two years older than Sunset Park. It has 3 other Wu/General tracks.

He was better on OB4CL, he hit his stride on Forever through Supreme & after, but Ironman's shine is the production (still hold it as RZA's best produced overall album) and the guests (Cappa's defining performances, Rae was tighter than Cuban, there's 2 cuts w/o Ghost at all & every guest brings it throughout the album). I still love it and Ghost is by no means bad, but when you hear the heights he hits before & after this album, you can understand why he still doesn't think he came through like he should.

The question I've always wanted to know more about on this album is the production b/c the instrumental version has the majority of the tracks w/ 15 seconds to over a minute of extra time with RZA still manipulating the beats in different ways and this is the only album that I've heard that on, so I always wanted to know more about why that is for Ironman solely. Never seen it brought up in any interview or album retrospectives ever.
I have to go listen to the instrumental album now lol

Check the ends of nearly every track. For example:

You get to where you're used to the track ending, and then there's an extra 30 seconds of beat w/ RZA fucking around w/ the piano keys.

Were these instrumentals previously released then? I don't remember hearing them before.

I have seen Buddah MAC and maybe also JetSet (?) mention the longer instrumentals before on WuCorp. Thanks to Buddah MAC mentioning them back then I checked some of them out on YT. So they are not newly released.

Yes. The original instrumental album had every beat except Winter Warz & over half of them were extended.

Fuck, yeah. I messed those up, my bad. Heaven & Hell & I Gotcha Back were both featured on there before the releases on the actual solo album. The 12" of Heaven & Hell actually has a picture on the back mentioning the film soundtrack. The Can It Be remix, than also predates the official release of OB4CL.

Could be. But not sure. Think Buddah MAC prolly was mentioning it on here.
