now i live in south new jersey,,, vineland to be exact,,,
been here since the first of this month we on....
beimg a home owner sux umless u have kids,.,,.,.,
florida was great except for the blatant racism my wife experienced.
she spent 3 years as a vet tech on minimum wage because shes brown skin...
they would hire new white chics with no experience and paid them waaaay more than my wiz....
she played her position and did 3 years of that bullshit..
and when she finally inquired about a raise, they fkn fired her for alleged insubordination....
so now we r in NJ starting over...

that was my first thought about a lawsuit
Anyhoo that FL experience is unfortunate. I moved there this year from Michigan and its legitimately much cheaper than the area I lived in in MI, there is infinitely more to do and experience, everybody is noticeably nicer and happier, and I'm not trapped inside 8 months of the year because of 3ft of snow
Claiming any state is "one" thing is impossible though, anywhere you go - you can travel 30 mins away and have a completely different experience and living cost
SKampoe, why didn't you continue LIFE OF A UBA DRIVAAAAA videos? That shit looked like it was going to be hilarious
after owning a home for 7 years with siblings as tenants I have a newfound respect for landlords, and think they have every right to do everything in their power to squeeze whatever they can out of their tenants.
owning a home ain't for the weak unless you're just balling out of control and money isn't an issue
Because they are your siblings, are you reluctant to throw them out on their asses because it will cause hate and discontent within the family?? There was a guy that murdered his girlfriend and two other people because they had not paid him rent in two years. I can imagine it gets very taxing at times being a landlord

I can understand his frustration. Well, actually, when I was teenager, we (I had a part-time job and needed to provide for my mother, sister, and nephew. Long story) had trouble paying our of the rent. Long story short, my older cousin raised a big fuse about this. So, my aunt, older cousin, and uncle made up a house rule: The stove and microwave can't be used if no one is working. Funny because my younger cousin who was around my age wasn't working and was allowed to use the stove and shit. So, I wasn't treated like a kid, but rather an adult at 16. They even called me a "freeloader" at 16 yrs old.
So, I asked my old boss for my job back and my family was allow to eat properly again. Even though at 16, I had my shit together, because we didn't come from money, they always looked down on us. They never respected me even though I achieved more then any of them.

Well, at least you learned independence at an early age. Best time to learn..
