Kubrick movies are always breeding grounds for conspiracy theories, so it's hard to take any of them seriously. There's an entire documentary about the conspiracy theories in The Shining and it's wild. Goofy as hell, but wild

Kubrick was the best. He put a lot of symbolic detail into his films that you can interpret in a number of ways.

Originally Harvey Keitel was supposed to play Pollack's part. Kubrick had him do one scene something like 60 times and Keitel walked out lol.

I have a conspiracy theory that The Matrix created conspiracy theories and had it been a TV show people would have gotten their fix from it naturally sucking after some seasons. All the other ones -before- were speculations and rumors.
