    Default Favorite Xmas Movies?

Obviously TV is full of them at this time of year, I always end up seeing a few. My family always ends up watching a bunch of movies at Christmas, not only Xmas films though.

Tarantino, Coen bros, Die Hard (Xmas movie?) are always crowd pleasers in our family.

Whats your traditional movies to watch with the family over the holiday period and/or favorite Xmas movies?

In one of the Red Dwarf novels (one of the original 4), going in, all the characters are in different worlds, without the reader knowing what's going on. It turns out they are all hallucinating on a drug they took in the previous book. They phantasize their perfect life. The goodie two shoe character turns out to be stuck in a perpetuous reenactment of 'It's a wonderful life'

I never saw the movie so I only discovered it as the OTHER characters found out

I'm not big on Xmas movies

I didn't even know there were Red Dwarf novels. I like the earlier episodes of the TV show.

Its a Wonderful Life is a great movie. Very dark but heartwarming at the same time.

Christmas Vacation is not bad, but a let down in that series. Seems like a lot of the jokes fall flat compared to the first 2 Vacations.

I rate Elf, Bad Santa, Gremlins, Muppets Christmas Carol

I watched Office Xmas Party a few weeks ago. It was decent for what it was.

I forgot about Gremlins taking place at Christmas. It's a great movie.

Home Alone is set at Xmas? Literally haven't seen it in over a decade. I may have to revisit for the Pesci performance.
