I enjoyed it. For a minute I salted my ketchup instead of my fries.

Critics have written articles about Eyes Wide Shut being the greatest Christmas movie ever made, and they’re not wrong

    Plains, trains, and automobiles.

    Classic.

    Oh and; Die Hard.

Yeah I'll suggest that we watch that in 2 days. A real feel good film for all the family.

haha technically it IS a Christmas movie. Almost every scene has Christmas trees and/or lights. I'm not even kidding about the articles either. They're not even being ironic about it

^ I actually would watch it today. Underrated film as far as Kubrick movies go.

Maybe the one with Dudley Moore is on.

In the end we watched Pulp Fiction and It's A Wonderful Life.

    They don't get old.

for some unfathomable reason the Netherlands have some sort of perennial thing for ABBA. I swear every year they come up with either an Xmas show or a New Years event revolving around ABBA on one of the national tv stations. I always hope my folks don't find out about it but ... this must be the third year in a row that I had to sit through a show or documentary lol. this time it was a singalong quiz. and yes, that's as bad as it sounds ha

then there's the perennial favourite of Belgian tv for Xmas or New Years : a Cirque de Soleil show. my dad was genuinely angry he had missed this year's performance broadcast at Xmas because my mom had forbidden him to watch tv for once when the famalam was there, bless her

no wonder we have no Xmas movie watching tradition in the fam, between ABBA and fancy clowns

mind you, I have nothing against these types of programmes but I mean ... every single year lol

There's a new Abba LP after all these years. Did your dad get into that?
