nobody mentioned 2000 BC?

i feel as if 2000 BC was his best release and i think it was way better than Rip the Jacker.

i have a hard time listening to his new shit as well for the above mentioned reasons. ive tried. and i want to get into it but i just cant, i think i have fallen off from rap music for the most part nowadays.

hes a huge influence for me as i named a tape Club Canibus but damn sun the dude literally needs to like, do something different in his life other than watch professors from the Royal Institute speak on youtube all day long.

Rip the jacker sounds exactly like what it is...a bunch of verses mixed over beats they weren't specifically written for. That's not a good thing. It's a decent album. One of his better ones. But certainly by no means outstanding or anything.

I thought a few of the later albums he did were pretty good, but I never listened to them a lot of anything. I think melatonin magic n the one before n after it were all pretty good, but I could be getting things mixed up.

Rip the Jacker is his best album for the production alone. Stoupe should've cut down some of his verses because people can't listen to science rap for too long. There's probably only two non-science songs in the album. The only good Canibus songs I've heard lately are remixes that underground rap nerds create, but they do a really good job. They paste one of his verses over a dope beat, and it's better than any of his legit releases. This one dude pasted his verse over a Smell Like Teen Spirit beat, and it sounded insane. They do with Jus Allah, and it's better than anything he released.

The best Canibus album is the one where he gives me verses and I pick the beats that don't suck ass, because the dude can't be trusted with beats. I've been collecting verses and beats from various underground rappers and am going to create my own Cilvaringz copy and paste type album just like this...
