Yeah it has been painted as a 'historic victory for Erdogan' in Turkish media. Note, not a victory for Turkey but highlighting Erdogan. In all honesty though there's nothing concrete in the deal. At the end of the day it took a phone call by Biden to make Erdogan do a 180 on his veto decision. That's what Erdogan wanted anyway, more dialogue with Biden as Joe has only called Erdogan twice since he took office. The F16 upgrade deal was already going to happen, Turkey has some 260 F16s, 100 or so will be upgraded.
