Lol @ Putin calling in 'the reserves'. A lot of them are dudes being forcely put on buses in faraway regions who have no military training whatsoever.

Convicts can enlist and get their prison sentence thrown out (been happening for a while now), foreigners can enlist and get Russian citizenship

Hell Snowden just got citizenship FOR THE HELL OF IT shout out to Hell Rell. Putin's pissing off Biden with that one

There's an uproar in Dagestan about people down there being bused off to go 'pioneer the frontier'

Mind you, Putin has only mobilised '1% of the reserves' in his own words. The official number is 300,000 but reports have come in saying it's closer to a million. There is obviously no way to check these 'reports' - they are rumours

I also heard about him transporting stuff to the front that looks nuclear. And that he might be doing a test near the border. But these are all rumors with no identified sources.

Agreed. With Russia increasing the heat, the USA will have to write more checks and supply more weapons at an arm's distance.

Apparently it was a Ukrainian missile attempting to shoot down a Russian missile so WW3 has been averted for now.

They were pretty keen on directly getting to the bottom of it, and maybe averting WW3. Reminds me of the MH17 airliner that Russia took out during the 2014 war. Full of civilians. The case is still going on The Hague. Why that wasn't seen as an act of aggression, or did not lead to the same kind of response is just embarrassing to me.

Winter is going to be hitting Germany in the next weeks. They had a pretty warm fall so far, warmest one in years. Let's see what that will also do for the war.

In the meantime China and India are not happy with the war because of its effect on the global economy.

Going by Zelensky's reaction to Elon's peace tweet, get all the land back. If this is also true for the Krim, I don't know. But this would mean that the cash & arms flow would have to continue.

I wonder how long Putin can keep up his show. And if somebody internally would not pull the plug, or that China & friends would not pressure him into back out.

US military will ship Ukraine a large supply of ammo along with other weapons. Basically, another weapons package along with some cash. Russia is running out of weapons and men, too. It's a concern because there are talks of utilizing nukes.

Isn't the word that China will start supplying Russia with arms? Probably in return for some cheap oil and gas. China really needs it, and could maybe get some very fortunate contracts out of it.

China is already doing a lot of trade with Russia, they would want more out of it that deal on the back end. I don't know, neither side is trustworthy.

Forget the economy and energy prices, it seems to me like things are going to get a lot worse before and if they get better.
