Music in our message
Would've been a great album title. But instead PE butchered it into a ridiculous meaningless mess of words. I mean I would've understood 'music in our mess-age', but the jumbled mess they came up with is ridiculous.
I never understood y they did this. Can anybody shed any light?

Ha ha This takes me back to high school 95. I remember discussing this album title with a friend.

I'm feelin that PE album title tremendously haha

Was it actually a good album to worry about the title?

Never listened to the album, but I just read critics reviews, and damn they were brutal, calling them old and out of touch. Hip-hop is not kind to older people

It's my personal fave PE album. It was one of the very first hip hop albums I heard, so it's got huge sentimental value for me. I used to have it on cassette.
I think it's a great album, personally.

I'm guessing the album is political, and people only wanted to hear gangsta rap in the mid-90s, hence the negative reviews. And saying your message is more important than the music isn't a good look. Reminds me of a Michael Moore interview when they asked him what's more important to him, art or politics, and he said politics. I feel like Public Enemy, Dead Prez, and Immortal Technique would answer the same way, and that's not good. How is politics more important than your art? People like that are in the wrong business
