They were discussing this on Ebro In The Morning on Hot 97 today. It led into a big, deep discussion over whether Takeover or Ether was better.
The majority opinion in hindsight seemed to be Nas took it, but back then and now still I go with Takeover.

I was in NJ and NY around that time in 01 and on Hot 97 they were discussing who won for hours at a time. I guess it never gets old.
Both are great diss records
This is a great nostalgic watch. Jay-Z was the top of the world in this period.
