^On top of that, Musk is a full blown idiot for buying Twitter in the first place. The company couldn't turn a profit and now he decided to layoff 3,600 people in order to save money. Also, a $8/mo fee for verification and check marks, too. I can see this company going under soon.

The Twitter buy was hard-core stupidity and Elon seems to have only done it because he wants ppl to like him and think he's cool/funny.
He bought it for 40 billion financed through borrowing. He has to pay 1 billion a year in interest on that loan. Worst, twitter has almost never turned a profit lol. It operates solely in the red. It doesn't make a dime for anyone and is the most idiotic business model on earth (advertise your shit between ppl arguing genders they made up with k-pop bots and a goth hoe flicking her bean)
He was trying to pull out of the deal but the offer was binding and the ball was in twitter's court. Twitter, knowing damn well their bot-hole wasn't worth 900 million, took the offer. Advertisers at the moment are withdrawing because they want to advertise next to goth bean flicking more than the N-Word.
Right now he's banning ppl for impersonating him, has announced the new rule where you can't impersonate someone, and is proposing you pay 8 dollars for a blue checkmark (lol). Elon Musk and Kanye are the same type of social nuisance that the internet seems to sustain.
