There was SO MUCH to this discover on this album. One of those 'first listening experiences' of a new album I will always remember. I skipped uni to buy the album, put a boombox in the kitchen and played the full album 3 times in a row. That kept me busy for a few hours lol. I also remember being extremely worried about how the album was gonna turn out one minute into the intro on my first listen lol.

I always feel the first album plays like a greatest hits album, but Wu-Tang Forever is their masterpiece as a group. Deeper songwriting, complex flows and darker production with a lot of detail. Its less accessible which is why even now some people don't like it as much but it pays off as an album that gets richer on each listen. There hasn't been a more influential album to underground Hip Hop since.

Classic. Only part is they could have put on some other killa bees like priest. Instead they promoted wack cappadonna to clan member

Visionz, Severe Punishment, Heaterz = undying love.

All the joints on the album are dope tho. I even dig the Projects RMX on the Euro version, and I always liked Black Shampoo too.

He must have been in the studio and done some verses for this album. Must also been some other reason why he was not on there.

True but Cappa did well on the album (as did Street). Not Winter Warz level but still very decent.
