I don't really know what albums most cunts were listening to, lolz. Only my friends n a few other cunts who were into hip hop.

I remember heaps of cunts having Offspring - Smash in my first year of high school tho.

For me, it was mainly BTNH. I'd listen to Hatin Nation before school.

In my first year of high school it was Offsprings Americana that was huge lol

I remember the Puff Daddy album No Way Out being really popular and then randomly a lot of kids in my year were bumping Naughty By Nature's Nineteen Naughty Nine album when that came out.

2Pac's greatest hits was popular for years too and another random one was Westside Connection's Bow Down. Those Eminem and D12 albums were really popular too.

damn. this is a tough one.

    high school was 2009 - 2012.

    Lil Wayne - No Ceilings
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon
Drake was pretty big too with the girls.
    shit like that.

it depended on the crowd. most of those groups never meshed. but this is what i could remember from partying, which is where i ran into the most varied crowds/biggest gatherings of people. and those tapes were pretty dominant during those 4 years within that crowd. also at this point in time most people were just listening to single tracks by artists nowadays so those were the only albums that i could remember actually getting full play.

and to add to that fact even more, no one was really all into music like that at this stage. a shame. so you never really heard many people talking about whats hot or their favorite album, or going to shows etc etc.

i was very much into music and the group that i hung around with was as well so music was always at the forefront for us but alas i cant really say what we were listening to was "big" throughout the whole school. some of it though was big within all our little sub branches of cronies.

    shit like

Nacho Picasso - For the Glory
Blue Sky Black Death - Noir
36 Chambers, Supreme Clientele, OB4CL, LS
    Canibus - 2000 BC
    Kanye West
    The Faceless - Planetary Duality

i do remember middle school being more to that effect though. trading albums and burning CD's was a thing back then, especially with the older crowds. that i somehow managed to get myself into. internet at this time was dial up and slow as shit and only a few could actually afford it so things were different. these albums i remember the most being talked about and just about the whole school listening to.

    middle school was 2005 - 2008

Brand New - everything up to The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Choking Victim and Leftover Crack were insanely huge.
Underoath - They're Only Chasing Safety
My Chemical Romance - I Gave you my Bullets
DMX was where it was at for hip hop during this time.
    Kanye was coming along too.
political punk was pretty big as well in this area, post 9/11 and the Bush era i could assume is why.
so Against Me! Anti-Flag, The Unseen etc etc.
i burned a lot of Dead Kennedys for people. looking back on it they are one of my fav bands.

i remember a lot of kids having Misfits patches or shirts.

ahhhh. now those were the days.

things have changed over the years, by the time i got to high school, just like me, those older crowds that used to really flaunt what they were into have since toned down and you have no clue what people were into without talking to them about it, CD's were out and ipods were in. our musical tastes probably changed at this time too amongst other things. and just completely reaching a new generation with technology/the internet changed a lot of things too.

i can safely say, the kids more closer to my age group werent about music at all.
