Default Styles' A Gangster And A Gentleman and Onyx's Bacdafucup:Part II released twenty years ago today

A Gangster And A Gentleman is a good classic and you can still regularly hear Good Times being played, it is a shame he had to do a nine month prison sentence four months after it dropped and killed the albums momentum. Bacdafucup:Part II was solid aside from the few club tracks on there. Would have been nice if they had Chyskillz on there, Rest In Peace to him

Gangster & a Gentleman holds up well. I played it about a month ago and I like it even better than when it dropped.

    Bacdafucup Pt 2 was okay

The styles p tracks ft. Pharoah monch, the life. I definitely recall being played endlessly at the time it was released.it slaps hard.
Is this or Jadakiss debut better?

    Both were ok debuts
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
