Eminem officially announced Curtain Call II
Going to be songs from Relapse up to Music To Be Murdered By
Side B, that collaboration with Cee Lo and some soundtrack and guest appearances. Dropping August fifth. Some people think the cover art is too abstract, but when you are Eminem, people are going to cop your music regardless..

I feel the same way. I have listened to Relapse probably thousands of times, but can count on both hands the number of times I have listened to his albums after that

Hard to believe there was a 5-year gap between his Relapse album. Drug problems aside, never thought he'd get writer's block. But that was probably his last decent album, even though he sings in a weird Jamaican accent. If he had retired around 2003, he'd be way more respected today, now you've got young kids calling him old and corny. Only thing I like about him now is he attacks mumble/trap rap and called Tyler the Creator a faggot on Kamikaze

The more I look at that art cover, the worse it gets. I don’t know what he expects to achieve anymore. He can still spit, but the beats aren’t there. And his voice totally changed. He just yells

Just copped it from Target. I was surprised it was not all sold out
Starting from Kamikaze, it always took me a month to cop new Eminem albums, but this is basically a greatest hits with three new songs, so perhaps that is why.. I am kind of disappointed in Is This Love featuring Fifty Cent, since it was recorded in 2009, I was expecting Relapse vibes, but it is not like that. Fifty Cent's verse sounds like it was written by Eminem. Funk Master Flex debuted it on Hot 97 last night and said this is the type of record that Eminem needs to make and he needs to keep dropping joints like that. Not feeling that joint with Cee Lo, it was rushed and it shows. I would love another joint where they do not put it together hastily, I think it would turn out better. Hate it that Crack A Bottle is on here, never liked that song. I see on the back cover it says, Patent copyright 2022 Marshall B. Mathers III, under exclusive license to Interscope Records. I guess Eminem must finally own his master recordings, which is awesome.
