Exactly! I still think about this album from time to time. Wasn’t it originally titled ‘Return of the Rebel’? I also think we’re well past the point where we need a wu member to do a fully Rza produced album. I know that’s a big dream but at this point they’re close to 30 years in the game and fans have been aski the same thing since those early days.

what’s up with this mixtape though? I thought we were getting it that day and it’s been a week

And if that's not feasible then a RZA soundtrack with Wu and Beez MCs would be nice instead.

But do OSTs still sell / stream if they are not Beyonce level releases? I don't feel like hip hop OSTs are still being made.

The thing is that people want that sound from around forever era. Thats when they were at their peak. The last decent album we got was raekwon only built for cuban linx 2. It was a good album even if the original album was a bit better then the released project. Mostly since some songs got took off the album and went into other projects.

One of the problems with the last wu tang albums is not that the songs are bad its that it doesnt sound as a focused project. It felt like they threw anything that was in the works for other clan members albums or elder tracks like my guitar gently weeps.

I think I said it before but the dream album would be everyone meet up and work on a album as a unit staying in the studio together and focus on a well sequenced album like their prime era. Itll never happen though since everyone is locked up in their own businesses now.

amazingly even over @ r/wutang on reddit I saw earlier this week in comments that people think this site is gone / still down / you can't sign up. IDK even know how that's possible lol. we gotta get the word out
