The worst thing to happen to hip-hop is that it continued after the '90s. They should just call it something else, like rock music is divided into heavy metal, punk, new wave, etc. It's devolved into something totally different and foreign. It's more popular than ever, yet worse than ever. 2010s was good but 2020s has been awful. Sure Kendrick and Cole were influenced by '90s rappers, so they're good and all, but these new rappers don't listen to music before 2000, so hip-hop is basically fucked

Doja Cat is awesome. Perfect mix of pop and rap. She even said her next album will be all rap with production by Alchemist. Not sure if that will really happen though.
