"The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is a movie theater founded by Tim League in 1997 in Austin TX. RZA from Wu-Tang clan first met Tim back in 2001 through their mutual friend Quentin Tarantino! All three of them have always been huge Kung Fu fans! About 5 years ago Tim and RZA decided they wanted to collaborate by making a Kung Fu inspired theme theater on Shaolin (Staten Island). The bar inside was named after the Shaw Brothers classic “Master of the Flying Guillotine". Not only can you get beer and cocktails, you can also order from a menu with a wide variety of food and deserts that will be brought to you right at your seat in the theaters! RZA came out with a new album this year called "Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater" “RZA’s Saturday Shaolin Theater” is a weekly showing of a kung fu movie that is curated by RZA. When in town, RZA will stop by the cinema to introduce and watch the weekly movie with fans! My friend Tim Brown and I went to this event as media and were able to get all this footage and much more! it was a great night! "
