No. I was in college at the time. 2006.



I was a victim of an attempted robbery. Two armed men. I managed to get away. Lucky to be alive.

No. Stuff like this I keep it to myself. The last thing I want is for someone to say "move on". It's not that simple. People (even professionals) can be judgemental.

Therapists and psychologists aren't going to tell you to move on it's their profession to help you.

You should go see some and find someone you connect with and talk about these things with them because it's unhealthy to keep it bottled inside you building up negativity and you clearly do want to talk to someone else you wouldn't have started the thread and said some of these things.

It's about trust. These days, trust is in short supply

Thank you for understanding. My objective was to get to know some of you better and to, you know, talk about things other than politics and sports.

I get the trust thing but at the same time you gotta trust someone in life you can’t go not trusting everyone, not everyone is out to hurt or make fun of you so at some point you gotta drop the wall down and let some people inside. You’ll definitely feel 100% better if you find a good psych/therapist to talk to about some of these things.

I get the point about wanting to know us better and not talk about politics and sports it’s a good thread topic, it still comes across like you want to talk to someone about your experiences.
