^ Thanks!
Listening now. This is pretty good, definitely a return to the Bobby Digital sound, and I'm not mad at that at all. RZA drops references to Arctic Monkeys and Fellini. Good taste.
Rev Willie Burks is dope on this, he crushes his guest spots. I'm guessing RZA is trying to help him out after he fell on hard times.
My highlights are Better Than Yours, Garden State, Rain On Em.
Wow. one beat/song blows every other on this album away and it’s Garden State aka the only non Rza produced track. I don’t get what he’s trying to do. Maybe he’s stuck in movie score mode. His production doesn’t hit anywhere close to how it used to and if by chance it does, it’s a beat he gave to a random, not someone who should have it like the clan or at least himself! Is he not hearing what everyone has been saying about his beats. It’s been at least a decade and there has been no rejoicing in Rza production.
Sounds like he sampled You Already Know from Afro Samurai: Resurrection on Flagrant Flavors
Wu-Tang: failing the internet tubes since 1997
Just never been a fan of the whole Bobby digital ish. Glad RZA is doing his thang tho.
I'm not feeling this EP at all. The only song that is decent is Garden state.
This aint that bad. Garden State and Burke features on point
Everyone just look up reverend william burke produced by rza on youtube
burke uploded a vast catalog of rza produced and sometimes featuring, cuts on a channel called orpah instead of oprah lol. Guess he really is related to her.
Songs like chiraq, rudeboy, etc are vintage rza, and some experimental shit. Just boend it all together as the ultimate rza/burke.
I just got the vinyl the other day. Unfortunately he mp3 download is only 160kps. Perhaps I'll rip the vinyl one day.
I'm in the process of scanning/stitching together the album cover. I'll post the results once I'm finished.
this is an album>?
its literally an EP.
i havent heard any of those other recent RZA things.
RZA/Bobby Digital is/was my fav from wu...
that being said, most of these flows are... annoying.
hate "albums" with features on every track as well.
it was nice hearing RZA rap again though. doubt i will ever listen to this again in my life.

Garden State is nice a 1,25x. Rest of the songs also becomes listenable at that speed.
