Default Top ten female music rappers?

I asked charles jones about gangsta boo's passing and he wasn't as negative about it as I thought he might be. He mentioned his top ten women music rappers, so I thought I would post a thread asking others what their choices are?

--- Gangsta Boo was a good music rapper. But i wouldn't put her in my top 10 favorite black women music rappers. Gangsta Boo lyrics are funny on Foxy Brown and Mia X B.W.A. song on Foxy Brown Chyna Doll album LOL. My top 10 black women music rappers are Foxy Brown, Lady Luck, Rah Digga, Heather B, Boss, Lady Of Rage, Amil, Monie Love, LeShaun, Little Kim.

You can't seriously put Amil on that list lol.

Yeah, strange list right there. Had to look up LeShaun to see who she is and saw this:

Shes most famous for the hook on 'Doin It'.

Jean Grae is GOAT for me.

Her album was decent. Production really held it up.

^ I think Amil's voice was a nice textural element on a couple Jay-Z songs back then; 'Can I Get A', 'Originators' etc. Really not a top 10 anything though.

A bit more research on LeShaun, they actually remade her whole song 'Wild Thang' for LL Cool J's 'Doin' It'. And also that record was originally supposed to go to Biggie. Would have been a perfect beat for BIG tbh but its classic song anyway.

This is her biggest solo success, a song about her fucking dudes with a strapon up the shitter. Thats pretty out there for 1993. And possibly explains why CJ is a superfan.

^crazy, never knew that existed. She would fit in well with female rappers nowadays. I always liked Roxanne Shante.

Can we get Charles back on the forum? I love the way he talks "my favourite black women music rappers"

I haven't heard a lot of female rappers over time but Lady of Rage went hard as fuck and I always liked MC Lyte.
