Aside from being ridiculously short and rehashing old songs, the beats are painfully mediocre and the “guest verses”are just dumb.

They should’ve had a total REDO on this project. Cilva or someone should’ve provided the beats and added movie samples to make it cinematic and cohesive. I don’t know who the executive producer was but he dropped the ball. Def Jam fucked it up somehow
Maybe we should rip the vocals with AI and remix it... how did the brothers sound on it tho, were the rhymes and delivery tight? I forgot

Feel free to share if you want. I just checked the album again, like the first time, couldn't get into it. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 tracks, it feels like random tracks thrown together by a label that was probably banking on the album cover to sell the product. A far cry from the Wu classics.

Can't decide if I like it or not. Usually weird beats like that have more replay value.

Miranda and Gunshowers are the only tracks I still listen to off this.

Something needs to be done with Wu-Massacre because it's a real shame to let it go out this way. I doubt any of the MCs even remember their verses. Honestly, none of the verses are memorable. But with better production, this album could've gone way differently

I still think it would have been received better if just billed as an EP

I completely wrote this project off when I was a kid. I just skimmed it on Spotify and there are actually a few pretty good tracks. Going to plan to revisit this

Explain why its dat wu shit is wack?

legendary hip hop sample. Flipped perfectly by scram jones i believe

hook aite. Nothing special. But ghost and meths flow is the most alive on this song. Ghost in particular is spitting with vigor. Meth was flawless.

For me the Biz Markie/TJ Swan sample doesn't work with the Wu verses. For you it does. That's cool. Also I don't feel the sample works with the vibe of the other songs on the album. Despite being an old/classic sample it comes out as a futuristic sounding song that doesn't gel with the other songs. It's good at least they kept it as the last track/bonus track and didn't put it smack in the middle of the album.

I don't like the hook at all.

But hey that's just me. You like the song, more power to you for enjoying it. You know you have my utmost respect.
