Yeah parts of it work, but its things like 2 of the first 5 songs don't feature Ghost, a lot of downbeat/somber tracks near the start of the album. Then a stretch of songs on the 2nd half that have a similar vibe.

I'm sure theres a better way. I might mess around with it later.

I definitely think Ghostface outshined Rae on Cuban Linx, and oddly, Rae and Cappa probably outshined Ghost on Ironman. Obviously, ghost, since the album has dropped has talked a lot about how he was going through a rough patch in his personal life, to the extent that it effected his performance on the album.

But RZA, was unbelievable. The beats he shat out on Ironman are incredible. HARD HARD HARD HARD.
Agreed Marvel is a dif type of beat...

this album is great no doubt, the whole Clan came up correct and the beats are some of the best RZA beats ever, I love this album too.

I'd be interested in hearing the songs in your preferred sequence. Thanks for posting it latee, when you come around to doing it.

beginning has somber tracks? Maybe the beats of faster blade and assasination day are slower but nothing compared to camay/motherless child/soul controller / all that i got is you type

To me the bangers are all on side a, besides fish which starts side 2. I can see someone thibking that it should be spread even but i think its pretty much perfect. The slower personal tracks always are at the end usually ie bible, heaven snd hell, northstar

Not sure why it took me two decades but I just realized that part of the track for Soul Controller is from KB Ridin'. Awesome. Love discovering things like this after so many years.

Is there a reason why Soul Controller was left off the album?

It's just a great all around album. From the 1st round of solos I listen most of all to Ironman (#1) and OB4CL (#2) after all these years. Sorry, Uey!

Imo its the best Ghostface Killah album, i can’t really say it’s the best Wu solo release.
I have a personal affection to Liquid Swords.
But, i gotta say Ghost was in another level with one.

Nothing b4 its time. For a similar epiphany listen to "Sub Crazy" & "East New York Stamp" from "Ghost Dog"

Sample clearance issues is reason SC removed from Ironman...

Camay is still my favorite Wu song of all time but Ironman isnt in my top 3 solos. Liquid Swords is the goat imo. I feel like Ironman is more of a collection of dope tracks and Liquid Swords is like a perfectly paced movie that flows together seamlessly.
