Yeah I've played pretty much all of the installments since the original SF2 during my childhood, but only ever very casually, and I just play old school style. But this new one is the first one I've ever got upon release and am actually trying to learn the modern mechanics of. Definitely fucking complex. It's an awesome game though. And playing online is fuc'n cool and pushes you to try and get better and understand the game more. I don't have enough thyme to ever really get that into it though. But I've learned a fair bit. Unfortunately though, I haven't had proper internet for a few weeks now, and have been unable to play online.

Keen to get back into it.

Does it also play with the fact that you have a single frame of animation to block an attack, like previous ones?

I'm not exactly sure, man. I'm not up on that tech talk. But probably. Defense feels the same as ever.

Really loving this game and pretty addicted to it. I only play once a week, but I'm ever so slowly climbing the ranks.
