Nice beat. Killah Priest's verse is better here than on Behold (the second MC on Behold had the better verse for that track).
I can only imagine what a full album would sound like with these type of beats, plus movie samples and interludes, skits, etc. Sunz of Man have always sounded to me like an old biblical epic movie, like The Ten Commandments or Ben-Hur, combined with thug bravado. This project, if it goes forward, has potential. But who knows what kinda verses you'll get from aging rappers, no offense. You had to perform magic just to get Raekwon to go hard on Weeping Tiger, and that was back in the 2000s. I don't know what the current Wu Affiliate roster sounds like, but I doubt they'll sound that hungry
The verses were not recorded on any of those original songs... they were recorded on other beats so I use them for references. The ideal option would be to record afresh.. and tell them to go hard like the 90s, or even use unreleased rhymes from then. For example, Prodigal's verse on the original Death Be The Penalty. I had him do something similar on OUATIS and it came out right. I do love this beat though.
