i tried listening to wu tang debut cd the other day and it was extremely boring. they went from mumble rap on "cream" to shouting on other tracks. all over 30 year old dusty beats and kung fu movie samples

You are right about the calmer rap on some songs, and then more aggressive rapping on other songs. I might just have wasted 30 years of my life. Damn, you also have a point about the kung fu samples, they do use them. And of course: the 39 year old samples. Thanks for the warning!
