    Default Live Unreleased GZA Verse

I don't think I ever shared it here or heard it anywhere else, but this was the nastiest GZA verse I ever heard that wasn't on an album

GZA was much better than he allowed himself to be on quite some tracks, especially later in life. He did a lot of random spitting on tracks where it was necessary for him to be the one to make sense and do the title of a track justice. Guess he set the bar really high and just failed to live up to it in the last 10 years with none of the promised projects coming to fruition. That geography project which should’ve comprised of several albums, the Vangelis project. ‘The Spark’ is the closest he came to his old self and spit at a high level.

What's the Geography project you are talking about? Never heard that name. The Vangelis project, that was just them finishing up Dark Matter.

He talked about doing this series on different aspects of nature with each album covering a separate theme / phenomenon / subject. Will try to find the article / interview.

I’m convinced all the verses he recorded for Dark Matter were spread across various Wu projects since he announced it. Especially on the album ABT.
But still hoping we get something from GZA soon. Or at least a feature from him on something. He would have fit perfectly on the theme/concept for the Killarmy single Splitting Atoms. Missed opportunity.
