Default Masta Killa - BK Harlem (feat. Head Ice)

Masta Killa of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan returns with "BK Harlem", the first single off his upcoming album "Balance". A collaboration with famed battle rapper Head I.C.E, the New York anthem finds two master wordsmiths repping their boroughs over sparse, drum-heavy production. Killa is currently our tour across the U.S., catch him in a city near you and stay turned for more details on "Balance" coming soon.

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

Can’t complain about new MK material. Don’t know who produced it, but the beat feels eerily similar to this old RZA beat.

It uses the same sample as does

Yes, that sample has already been used a million times but still dope.

Masta Killa, the only one who’s able to bring back GZA for his albums, alongside Deck. Please let that happen again!! Will check the track out, thanks.

After listening to it, very disappointed in Masta, though I shouldn’t be surprised given his voice and delivery has been going downhill for a while now, like on Be Ill. At some point age catches up with them, but hopefully he sounds more energetic and like his old self on the Mathematics album and rest of the tracks.

I like it. Good use of the sample for it not to sound like a rehashed beat

Sample has been used infinite times, but this is definitely an interpolation, not a direct sample (which will save the label some money!)

Prefer a more energetic MK, but will wait to check the album.
