    I have been listening to the Roots for almost a year now and in soom of there earlier albums Black Thought may say "Malik B. get on the mic" is Malik B. just another personality of Black Thought, his voice sounds slightly different.

    malik B used to be in the roots....he was the other rapper...

    are you sure cuz in the track "Proceed" both sound identical and have you heard "Proceed 2" it's on undergroundhiphop.com, it is nice.

    he did not leave he is struggling with a substance abuse problem and is still an official member he just has not been in the studio and hates to go on tours
