My evidence, my own testament, written on wood
Twelve tribes layin at the head of corners in hoods
Hell razah
Probably. That's what I've been thinking, but I'm not completely sure.
isnt it weed, cuz exodus was a bob marley album
bob marley = weed
i dunno
I've heard that you can use pages from the bible to role joints. This could be possible since (depending on your version) the paper is pretty thin. However, since it is GZA there has to be meaning behind it. He also says, "Check the print, it's where veterans spark the letterings" this could be a play on words, since the veterans spark the letterings and GZA sparks a joint up. Also he says, "The liquid soluble that made up the chemistry A gaseous element, that burned down your ministry". This is obviously a comparisson. So when the word is burned the church is burned and visa versa.
yo i got another gza question
you know that line
put strangles on commercial angles, microphone cords tangled from being star spangled or somethin
i know what that means but i aint sure
is he sayin that like, hes fuckin up the commercialness in hip hop and when rappers get fame, they suck ass on the mic or somethin else
exodus is pure white cocaine
read my post up there
I don't think anyone is going to smoke a joint with bible pagesOriginally Posted by lao_tzu
especially GZA
"burning down your ministry" would be more like an attack on what you believe in or where you feel safe
plus the letterings line is plain dope imagery

Shabazz:
"smoke herbs in bible paper, keep the cap on ya cognac
I sip a fifth of juice and genesis, smoke a spliff of exodus
then sniff a kilo of leviticus"

haha its all the rage then
Herbal vapors, and biblical papers
Smokin exodus, every square yard is plush
He's getting high off of reading the Word.
i believe that he is either trying to show the fact that the church is no longer respected these days or that reverends - priests - monks sometimes "inhale the herbal vapors"
and BTW i rolled a blunt out of bible pages. and yes it depends on the printage because if the paper is thick you choke, but if the paper is thin it is smooth.
its a play on words
Exodus
Exo-Dust
smokin dust
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
