The more I listen to Legend of the Liquid Sword the cheesier the beats get. And damn, he had a chorus talking about how much Liquid Swords owned. That's kinda too wierd in my book.

Haha yea some of the beats are cheesy but its a straight album none the less

album has production problems.

i like arabian knight and he has all the best beats here but something else is needed. The legend of the liquid sword song could have been really good if not for that atrocious hook. Jaz o blessed the beat but the hook is trash.

Rough cut was at that point, prolly the worst beat rza ever gave a general.

Silent to me just sounds like one of those wu joints i should like that comes off as mediocre to me. Song does nothing for me today.

Did ya say that and autobio just come off as boring to me.

Id rate this album a true 3.5. Above average just not enough on here i consider all time classics from gza. But if you cut like 3-4 tracks off and added 2-3 classics it would he a 4.5 mic album for sure. Spots of brilliance and good prodUction but some of it comes off as cheap.

Stay in line only song i really consider 5/5 with knock knock, fame, sparring minds and animal planet all having moments of brilliance. Gzas just like mad laid back and his music is almosy too slow for today. Idk.

I really enjoyed this album when it came out. I'd give a 7/10, above average but not great.

I used to have it on repeat for hours as background music while I played videogames back in the day
