Robben has had 1 reasonable season in english football (I'd never heard of him before that).

Now compare that to Pires who has had season after season at Arsenal scoring about an average of 15 a season as a midfielder (Not that that is the only part of his game, I even saw him bringing in headers, shoulder barges and hard tackles to his game this season)

I think you should wait another couple of seasons before you can compare the 2 players. Pires is a proven quality player. Robben still needs to prove himself. (IMO)

it was only reasonable because he only played 4 months in the season, scoring 10 in 19 in all competitions and he still got into the premier league team of the season. And so what if u never heard of him before? No one heard of Cech before this season but hes still the best goalkeeper in the premier league hands down.

I think pires time is up, he only has a few seasons left in him before persie takes over, same with ljundberg... hes too busy modelling in his Y fronts. maybe vieira will be off too if real madrid show interest. obviously i didnt see the whole arsenal season but it looked like fabrigas played better than vieira anyway... quiet happy u lost edu, i think hes a good midfielder and will do well at valencia.
