My favourites for the World Cup apart from Spain are Germany and Argentina. I think Brazil are a little overrated, bookies see them as favourites but I don't see them being the better team than the 3 I mentioned. Would be nice to see the Dutch finally win it but I doubt it.
England don't have much chance to win but they will be a tough team to beat, I think this England team will do better than the previous teams, one because there is no expectation and the way they play will make scoring against them really hard. Although they haven't impressed in the friendlies leading up to the world cup.
But yeah another world cup where I will have to adopt another team to support fucking Turkey lol. Bosnia seems like a good bet. Dark horses probably? theres always one unknown team that makes the semi-finals.

lol lol the ref raped Croatia, no way was that a penalty. Secondly the foul on Julio Caesar by Olic was no foul so Croatia basically had a goal disallowed. Really unlucky for Croatia but this will happen.
Usually the non European refs which always show up in World Cups suck balls.
Croatia got ripped off big time! Neymar could have been sent off the field after that elbow (slow motion showed he consciously did it) while Corluka's foul was not worth a penalty AT ALL.
Still, for a neutral soccer fan like myself it was still an enjoyable game.
I was surprised at how well organized Croatia were. The team tactic was well thought out. Modric and especially Rakitic were really good. Perisic was good too. Olic made a few slip ups, but he still came with the assists.
I foresee trouble within the Croatian team. Olic seemed rather angry after some of the attacks failed. He should quit it already since he looked bad on the field a few times himself, as stated above.
Brazil turned out to be quite vulnerable, maybe pressure had something to do with it, as this was the opening match. Hulk showed less than I expected from him. Fred was just ok.
We haven't seen Mexico and Cameroon play yet, but I dare to say to Croatia might end up nr 2 in their group.
Good opening match! Too bad the referee was not up to par.
Spain-Holland's going to be interesting. I want to find out whether Holland's defense is really as shaky as so many sources have been stating over the last few weeks. I hope Holland does well, but Spain will probably get the upper hand.

we get Mandzukic back for second game, we should qualify for second round. but that game against Brazil was a world cup final for us, we're never gonna win this tournament. if we got beating fair and square then nothing to complain about, but getting raped and forced to toss the refs salad leaves you with a sour taste in your mouth. it just seemed to me that the ref made sure Brazil won to stop rioting in the country
It wouldn't surprise me if he was under some kind of pressure. His decisions were blatantly pro-Brazil.
