Iran VS Nigeria was a snoozefest ... I decided to watch the match knowing Nigeria won the Africa Cup last year. But I should have known better, they got their asses kicked at the Confederation Cup.
This was the worst of the six or so matches I've watched so far. So many bad passes all around! No tactics on the part of Nigeria.
You guys enjoy USA-Ghana, I hope the Americans here get their money's worth, so to speak. But Ghana will not easily be defeated, I fear.
Germany was as efficient as usual. Müller's on a hot streak. How weak was Portugal?! I can't believe Pepe acted like an ass on the world stage, with his level of experience. Germany's a semi-finalist for sure.

Nigeria were shockingly disappointing. They just had nothing going forward, they couldn't cross, no decent balls to Emenike. With their squad they should have trounced Iran. Terrible match.
Germany just cruised today, Portugal were bad but that shouldn't take away anything from Germany. Even before the red card Portugal didn't do anything to rattle the Germans.
The Portuguese only put up a fight for the first ten to fifteen minutes. Such a disappointment.
