milan should have beaten milan but it wasnt a special game very boring though. I watched inter, they were really good espeicially stankovic who was class, but i must say did anyone see zanetti the runs he did, about 6 runs straight through the villareal players, just like maradona the man inspires world class performances. I think inter have a good chance if zanetti and ardriano can lift the teams spirits. 2-1 wasnt a fair reflection on the way inter played it was a very good game though end to end stuff.
Villareal have an away goal, which is going to help them a lot. I wouldn't be suprised to see a Villareal - Arsenal semi at all, it would be good to see a new finalist.
I hear the G14 are trying to manipulate the format of the champions league now too, as they're not happy with the knockout system. It sucks that they're trying to alter the way the tournament plays, as this knockout stuff is the best way to do it, given that 'smaller' teams don't have the squad capacity to play the extra games that come with an extra group phase. FIFA need to sort it out and tell the G14 to fuck off and stop devaluing the achievements of the alleged underdog.

They've not caught them, but they'll be there if Chelsea fuck up. Given Man Utd will most likely do the double over them, the final league standings will at least look a little better than last year, where Chelsea seemingly walked it. I can't see them having too easy a time of it next year though, the top 6 have all got much better
