Yeah, Asian Cup 2007 was shit but I am convinced it was stitch up for Iraq. They absolutely rode the officials the entire tournament diving all over the place like a protected species and Australia were dudded against Japan in the knock out stages. Seriously, Iraq have barely been able to be competitive since winning the Asian Cup. Fucking stitch up for sure. South Korea came third but didn't score a goal at any stage in the Knockout phase.

North Korea are close to securing qualification, they're equal second in Group B and lead on goal difference.

I watched the Iraq v South Africa game too, and it was utter shit.

Ireland have a good chance of qualifing for the world cup, if Italy beat Bulgaria and we win our next game we definitly have a chance of coming at least second.

We missing our best player for the last year, Stephen Reid, when he comes back, and if Stephen ireland decideds to play again, we'll be a far better team. At the moment we dont have a great team, but we're managing to get the results thanks to Trapatoni, so if those two come back we'll be far better.
