    Default Wu-Tang albums without RZA

Yo i hear alotta wu albums get released with only a few rza beats (meth) and some albums dont have none at all (immobilarity, lex diamonds).

I Just Wanna Know how y'all feelin about the case for non rza produced wu albums and ghosts new one which sounds promising, but reportedly dont feature the rza.

    Holla!!!!!!!

suck. I thought he was a great producer/director. When people name their the top 5 classic Wu cd's, at least 3 were 99% produced by RZA. Since then, there have been good songs on good cd's, but the albums don't have the same movie qualitied flow to them.

The RZA was the man bringin the original wu beats and nowadays some clan affiliates are missing his influence in trying to get others to produce for them. It ain't hard to stay away from the brutal dirty south style or radio station shit and that should be enough to satisfy any wu fan.

You all got to understand that when they got into this business that this is the way they planned it. Do you think is all that upset that he cannot produce on newer solo albums. I dont think so. I enjoy hearing other producers on wu albums and solo albums. Lets me know that wu still has some clout in the market and is able to have business oppurtunities with others in the game.

    ^^^very good point.

But in my opinion a wu-tang album isn't a wu-tang album unless it has wu-elements. To be totally honest that's why the solo projects after the 97 era weren't soo successful, not because of the name "RZA" but the sound of "RZA" and the wu-elements were not present to compliment the styles. Wu-Tang is a very solid group, very strong for the simple fact that it's members can stand tall alone. That's what makes Wu such a super-group. Being that they all wanted to take their production into their own hands. It really hurt them in a way because some of the producers they worked with , their (producers) work was absolutely horrible in which in return made the clansman reflect the image. You can not make excellent work with sub-par production. I think it's time they look back and say, "Wait a minute, we made a wrong turn somewhere, let's start over."

    what do you think?

i think the resounding success of fishscale as an album debunks any notion that RZA is absolutely essential for a Wu album. While RZA is one of the single greatest beatmasters in the world, Ghostface's legendary flow and rhyme style carries the album with some really spectacular beats. However, RZA is largely responsible for the success of the Clan legend, and his talent and legacy can never be ignored.

the w had all rza beats except for one, but it was still missing something. they need something like wu tang forever with mostly rza production with some wu element beats tossed in there.
