^I never listened to much of Kool G, any good albums from him? I heard Streets Of NY and On the Run before though. Non Phixion, dope ass production, but i couldnt get into their lyrics much. THat song Rock Stars was tight though

Kool G helped define hardcore gangster rap into the new decade. Many props to him. He took what KRS did in Boogie Down and ran with it, imo.
