Shocking news. I was following the story as it unfolded, but just assumed he would live, only to check the news at work in Thursday too find he'd died.
Seems deaths have only really occurred in the modern era, which is strange.
I suppose we are pretty casual with regard to cricket here, when i would go down to the nets i would often not bother with a helmet without much thought of possible outcomes.
