we evolved from monkeys/apes (something of the sort), we were all black because it started in africa, and mans skin required that amount of melinoma (sp). over 20,000 years as people spread out from africa to other parts of the world the amount of sun people were getting farther away from the equator required the skin to change to get enough vitamins and all that happy horseshit.
