Indian Volunteers in the German army, France, 1943. Recruited from British indian army prisoners ofwar, they were mostly used as a labour corps. however 300 or so formed the German army 'free indian legion' and served in France before being transferred to SS control as the "Indische Freiwilligen Legion der Waffen-SS." The unit was finally captured trying to fight their way to switzerland.

Typical propoganda shot of a German flamethrower tank. Not a common or useful piece of kit but good for impressive pictures.
Machine gun team of the 4th SS (Police) Division. Made up of reservists and middle aged Policemen it was basically useless in combat. Sent to anti-partisan and security duties it achieved a reputation for atrocities that was hard to equal.

Black Egyptian Soldier of the German armies Free Egyptian Legion. Attached to the Afrika corps and later under the administrative control of the Waffen-SS they were another largely propoganda unit to allow political influence in the Arab countries with Anti-Jewish elements!
That rarest thing, a black german soldier. Largely the children of German male officials in the colonies they counted as 'racial' germans and could be conscripted into the army. Several also served as pilots in the Luftwaffe apparently.
Children of white german women and African French soldiers from the french occupation of the Ruhr were seen as un-German and forcibly sterilised or sent to labour camps!
Curiously when the SS recruited French volunteers for the 'anti-Bolshevik crusade' many volunteers came from the French colonies. Eventually several Vietnamese, Thai's and Cameroonians were serving in this unit and several of them were very, very black. That was apparently a step too far for the SS who had the black guys quietly diverted to a labour camp!

SS Einsatzgruppe (special action group) and Police units on Ghetto clearence operations. Possibly Warsaw since the man with the medals is a seriously decorated combat commander not the usual gangster and degenerate who made up these units. It suggests the local Jews werent going without a fight!
