    I don't know if this is where this thread should be.......

    Does anyone know the Mase story? I loved him at one point and now I am confused......he was with Bad Boy, became a minister (why?), came back on Bad Boy and now is Murder Mase? What the heck?

    mase started off in harlem where he teamed up /w big L, camron, herb mcgfruff & bloodshed to be the harlem group known as Children Of the Corn. Mase and Camron were originally gonna be pro-ballers but L convinced them to rhyme. They put out an album/mixtape thing and it's got some classics on it, dope as fuck. Now this is back when murda mase was murda mase and camron's style was oldschool and similar to everyone else back then. Harlem never really got put on the map(to us NYers it always was...but nah harlem never got put on the map) and bloodshed was killed, COC never really lasted everyone kinda went seperate ways. mase joins badboy, later gets run out of harlem by Cam, the dipset and a lotta other harlem crews and becomes Preacher mase. This is where the dipset/mase beef begins and eventually mase joins G-unit and becomes Murda Mase once again. someone son me if i'm wrong, don't really fuck with wack ass monotone mase who claims to have ghostwritten for Big L years after he dies...

    Hes just one big gimmick IMO.

    Started with bad boy, then went all religious, say shit like women should be treated with respect and didn't like rap music anymore due to the violence such as gun raps etc... came back as a rapper who didn't swear...

    now hes signed with G Unit, and rapping about shooting people and "bitches"... hes just 1 big fake to me now.

    mase murda was nice with C.O.C., Big L taught Mase and Cam'ron how to rap

    and bloodshed didn't got shot he died in a car accident
