i want KC to win because, not entirely because they're an AL team, but I want to see the Giants lose a world series for once. Also Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo's favorite team is the Giants and I can't wait to see him cry. also it's hard NOT to root for like and be touched by their journey to the WS.

We lost a world series 25 years ago after the Loma Prieta Earthquake.

    NEVER AGAIN!

Lorde's 'Royals' Banned From San Francisco Airwaves Until After World Series

And they'll never play "Royals," royals. Or at least they won't till the World Series is over.

Two San Francisco radio stations have benched Lorde's chart-topping single from their airwaves until either the Giants or the Kansas City Royals win the World Series, per KMBC.com. The two teams will play Game 1 of the Series on Oct. 21.

In response to the ban, Kansas City radio station 99.7 The Point plans to play "Royals" once every hour from 7. a.m. to 7. p.m. the day of the opener.

"You might try to stop the #Royals on your airwaves... but we'll just pump 'em up!" the station wrote on their Facebook page.

Lorde was inspired to pen her song's unforgettable refrain after seeing a 1976 photo of then-Kansas City third baseman George Brett in an old National Geographic magazine, "Royals" emblazoned in blue across his chest.

Earlier this year, to commemorate the teenage singer-songwriter's success, Brett sent her a special Royals jersey. He signed it with the note, "You are Royal to me."

I don't think I've heard the song until now. Who would be playing the song anyway? Middle schoolers?

^ KC never had a chance this game. Bumgarner is too good. The post season nerve might be hitting the inexperienced KC as well. Also, Bumgarner is a stranger to them, as if his difficult-to-see delivery wasn't confusing enough to hitters already.

this is why winning game 1 is so important. the royals went 8-0 to start the postseason. but i don't see them as a team that would come back from a deficit. they gotta get rolling early and keep accelerating. (just like their fast players).

I bet the Giants to win the series. I bet them two years ago against Detroit and they came through. I see it happening again.

Scott Cousins laid that ass out lol but nah that sucked. Posey is mad nice.

And I lived in FL when the Marlins won in '03. Shit was crazy. There were also a ton of non-baseball fans that became baseball fans after that. That's also when the Marlins had some fucking attitude. I miss those old uniforms and colors.

I know how it is witnessing some shit at a postseason game. I was sitting in the left field seats at Yankee Stadium. when Ibanez hit the game-tying HR and the walk off HR in the 2012 ALDS. Everyone kept tackling and hugging each other. the place was insane.
