    A sad showing from the A's after having the best record for a while and then falling apart late in the season, and losing early once again in the playoffs.

    The Pirates are about to lose also.

    giants have the best bullpen plus they just play unreal in the playoffs, wouldnt be surprisd at all to see them win it again. theyre handling the hottest team headed in to the playoffs. KC/SF would be a swell WS. lol detroit. that bullpen is horrendous.

    angles were doomed the moment richards went down. plus their bullpen sucked ass all year and was close to detroit levels of bad so i dont know who thought they were favs but they clearly were one of the most vulnerable teams headed in. trout, the al mvp obviously, was also hitting sub .260 at home most of the year and if not for a late push there would have been the first mvp since willie stargell in '79 to hit sub .270 at home. no matter what wouldnt have been 72 .232 at home johnny bench bad,

    giants were my pick to win the world series at the start of the season

    mid-season i thought it was going to be giants vs. a's

    then royals vs. cardinals at the start of the postseason

    i'm still happy royals vs. giants is the world series

    i've picked the giants in previous world series but this time i'm picking the royals
