players like him make the game fun and exciting. people give Yasiel Puig a lot of shit for being cocky. he did have a couple of moments that he should have been mature about. like a couple bat flips that he almost hit people with. but people give him shit for every little thing now. including every single bat flip he does. a lot of players, even ones who are deemed nice players, have bat flips too. when Yasiel Puig gets an XBH and gets pumped up on the base and throws his arms up and points to his dug out they say he's being a show off...but he just drove in two runs to give his team the lead, how dare he celebrate...

people need to get over it. some players enjoy the game, and that's ok.

the difference is you dont see pence on higlight reels for dumb shit like puig is. i dont think puig is hanley levels of slow but he holds back which is scary cuz if the dude focused on just baseball he'd be the greatest thing the game has seen ina while.
