Wu-Tang is not just a group; Wu-Tang is a life style, and its the style I live, as crazy as it sounds. I dont blame you for shutting down threads that say negative things about Wu. We all suppose to be Wu Fam here, this is Wu's official site; is there fan club. We the fans should show love atleast more than half of the time. I think WADE mentioned it before they do log in and check whats going on. Specially U-God whose always on My Space. Its all good Wade. WU-TANG 4 EVER!!!

I love Wu-Tang, but what I never understood was their work ethic. GZA said he did the Grandmasters album in two weeks. If he worked constantly, that's 26 albums per year. I know, I'm not even saying that they SHOULD workd all the time. Now do the math: one guy, one album, two weeks. Nine guys, one album, 2/9 weeks. So why have there only been 4 clan albums?!?!?! If they had put out one clan album per year (at the minimum, check my math just above), no other group (e.g. No Limit, Cash Money, G/Fag Unit, Dipset, Terror Squad, Bad Boy, etc etc) could ever have taken top spot. So they ultimately have no one to blame but themselves for not being commercially recognized, having been supplanted by inferior groups, and getting panned when they bother to release solos.

Don't hate ME man, I still buy all their shit the day it comes out.

I agree with this to an extent, they shoudl've at least been more prolific with their output, and repped their group harder on more recent solos, with a obvious exceptions of course.

wu-tang did put a lot of shit out but people didnt like. the mainstream audience completely got off board after forever. all those guys you mentioned totally jacked wu-tang's business strategy. from 97 to now wu-tang had 2 to 5 albums out per year.

Actually there is something I would like to get of my chest. Its not a criticism, just more a comment that goes against what alot of people on here have said in the past. Ghostface is not the reason that OB4CL is great. In fact if he would have had much lesser of a role the album would have been just as good. The album is a classic for two reasons. Firstly that Raekwon had an image/persona that he presented to the rap world and that other rappers then wanted to imitate to death. Secondly, Rae's vision was implemented by Rza's production and more importantly Executive producer skills. Ghost was just a featured rapper and not the mastermind behind the cd and to be very honest when people say 'I see Cuban Linx as a Ghost album just as much as a Raekwon album' thats complete and utter rubbish talk. Its a Raekwon album first and foremost because Rae had the idea and the vision of what he wanted. Its a Rza album second because he made Raekwons seed of inspiration grow into the best album of all time (personal opinion off course but its right up there nonetheless).

yeah tru dat, i hate folks who try to say cuban linx was ghosts album too or that ironman was raekwons album too. these guys came up with the vision and direction for their albums and they had other guys tag along.
